Maintenance of Radiation Portal Monitors & Hand-Held Equipment

Project Description:

Al-Thurya General Trading & Contracting Co. has been awarded a major contract by Global Clearinghouse Systems to maintain radiation portal monitors at five key locations: Salmi Border, Nuwaiseeb Border, Shuaiba Sea Port, Shuwaikh Sea Port, and Sulaibiya Land Border. This project is focused on ensuring the optimal functionality and performance of Thermo Fisher Scientific-installed Radiation Portal Monitors (RPMs) at these critical sites.

Objectives:

  • Routine Maintenance: Perform and document routine maintenance of Radiation Portal Monitors (RPMs).
  • Corrective Maintenance: Execute and document corrective maintenance as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain, control, and store an adequate inventory of RPM spare parts.
  • Electronic Alignment & Compliance: Conduct electronic alignment and functional compliance tests on RPMs.

Duration:

The maintenance contract is set for 3 years, commencing on September 1, 2024, and concluding on ‎September‎ ‎1‎, ‎2027.
