Chrome Ore
Chrome ore, primarily known as chromite ore, is a mineral aggregate from which chromium can be economically extracted. It is a crystalline mineral composed mainly of iron oxide and chromium oxide compounds (FeCr₂O₄). Chrome ore is typically found in basic and ultrabasic igneous rocks, as well as in metamorphic and sedimentary rocks. It serves as the chief commercial source of chromium, which is essential for various industrial applications.
