Organizing the "Say No to Violence Against Women Symposium," November 2019:

In collaboration with the Kuwaiti Lawyers Association, the association organized an awareness symposium titled "Say No to Violence Against Women" on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The event was held under the patronage of Her Excellency Sheikha Fadia Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, Chairperson of the association's Board of Directors.

At the outset of the symposium, Her Excellency emphasized Kuwait's commitment to implementing international treaties and agreements aimed at eradicating all forms of discrimination against women, as ratified by the United Nations General Assembly. She also highlighted Kuwait's diplomatic support for United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325, which addresses women, peace, and security, and has led to numerous International resolutions aimed at protecting women, as they are a fundamental pillar of community and global peace.
