Dar Al-Jazera Consultants (AJC) is a progressive Architectural and Multi-disciplinary Engineering firm founded by Arch. Ahmad A. Al-Jihayem, in 1978.
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) headquarters blends modern design with traditional Gulf architecture, featuring a podium, a hollowed-out tower, and a floating roof. Public spaces are located at the lower levels, while private functions are organized around a central atrium. Shaded façades and deep-set windows reduce energy consumption, responding to the local climate. Symbolic design elements express the CSC’s cultural roots and national mission.
