IDEMIA Card Connect is one of the bridges between the digital and physical worlds. It improves the banking journey from card activation to strong customer authentication (SCA). IDEMIA Card Connect allows authentication data to be securely generated by and stored in a physical card. It enables the exchange of this data between the card applet and a smartphone. Such data include:
- Static information stored during card personalization or during enrollment via the smartphone
- Dynamic data generated each time an authentication transaction is triggered. The card applet embeds a cryptographic feature to secure the data and enable use cases involving SCA.
This solution is compatible with iOS and Android-based smartphones, and it works with all IDEMIA card products.
